Launch of the Azerbaijan Green Building Council
I was asked to speak at a green building event at Ada University in Baku at the launch of the Azerbaijan Green Building Council. I reminded the audience of technically focused green professionals of the need to design for the ultimate user, the consumer -whether residents, employees, shoppers or visitors across every real estate sector. Green certifications which do not take into account the emotional needs and aspirations of the user but only the physical, cannot claim to be truly sustainable ie commercially successful in a competitive market.
